Site Supplier Quality Specialist – E7 Prototype
Boeing Defence UK, Birmingham Airport
Position Overview:
Boeing Defence UK is seeking experienced Site Supplier Quality Specialists to join our Quality Team supporting E7 prototyping at Birmingham Airport. This full-time role involves collaborating with Boeing Enterprise Supplier Quality, Supplier Management, Engineering, and Program teams in the UK and US to ensure supplier products and services meet contractual, regulatory, and quality standards.
Reporting to the BDUK Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) Lead, you will perform supplier quality conformity activities, manage nonconformances, and drive effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to ensure root cause identification and recurrence prevention. The role operates under FAA/DCMA and Boeing production processes at STS Aviation Services, Birmingham Airport.
Required Competencies:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Quality Assurance within aviation production environments.
- Proven expertise in Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action.
- Experience managing product conformance and supporting manufacturing/production activities.
Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems and production supplier quality requirements.
- Experience in aerospace regulatory environments (MAA, EASA, CAA, FAA/DCMA).
- Aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) experience.
- Ability to work effectively within globally diverse teams.
- Continuous Improvement or LEAN certifications.
- Knowledge of APQP or PPAP processes.
