The Civil Nuclear Constabulary (CNC) is an armed police service that’s dedicated to the nuclear industry. We have an exciting new opportunity to join us as an Efficiency and Continuous Improvement (E&CI) Lead Analyst to establish a sustainable and consistent function to focus the direction of the organisation. The role leads on exploring, monitoring and delivering efficiency and improvement initiatives, by planning and performing multiple deep dive analyses and report on key focus areas. As part of your analyses, you’ll coordinate and facilitate E&CI working groups and prepare reports to present at strategic forums. You will collaborate with partners throughout the organisation, namely Finance Analysts to manage the process involved in recording efficiency initiatives for onward reporting, and Performance Analyst teams to monitor and provide a ‘critical friend’ role on functional plans and performance reporting.
To be successful in the role you’ll have experience in an analytical field (e.g. audit, analysis, performance management etc.) with a relevant Accounting or Auditing qualification. You will be experienced in data monitoring and analysis to produce meaningful reports and evidence of impact and use your excellent analytical skills and ability to absorb technical and numerical information, to demonstrate evidence and present complex data for analysis. An excellent communicator, you\’ll be confident in writing reports, as well as presentation and facilitation skills, from operational to executive level.

– 27.5 days annual leave (rising by 1 day after 2 years’ service, and 0.5 days ever year thereafter until a total of 32.5 days is reached) plus Bank Holidays
– Additional 30 minutes time worked during the week to accrue additional leave of 3 days, which can be used for period between Christmas and New Year
– Generous pension scheme (20.7% employer contribution, 8.2% employee) The employer contribution for this grade is £8,377 minimum per year, and minimum employee contribution of £3,318 minimum. A total minimum annual pension contribution of £11,695!
