H.A.D.I Ltd. is a UK-based company specializing in the design, installation, inspection, and testing of installations within potentially explosive atmospheres.

We have extensive experience in the oil & gas sector.

We are seeking a motivated electrician who is punctual, reliable, and has a strong work ethic. Ideally, candidates will have experience in the utility or oil & gas industry.

This role involves travel to various client sites from Rochester to Pickering along the east coast. Travel and expenses will be covered, and accommodation will be provided.

There are 3 roles available, working Monday to Friday, 50 hours per week.

  • Applicants must have a COMPEX 01-04 certificate, 18th Edition, and JIB registration.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working as a JIB Electrician
  • Knowledge of health & safety legislation
  • Leading and delegating work within a team
  • Performing hazardous area inspections, repairs, and installations according to BS EN 60079 standards
  • Calibrating and testing control and instrumentation equipment
  • Updating site drawings with changes
  • Recording inspections of plant and equipment
  • Highlighting and rectifying health and safety issues
  • Communicating effectively with management and contractors
  • Installing metal cable management systems
  • Experience with control panels and telemetry systems
  • Previous work in the utility or oil & gas industry
  • Maintaining good housekeeping

This position can be self-employed, contracted, or PAYE.

Salary is competitive and dependent on experience, to be discussed at interview.

Job type: Full-time, 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, day shift.

Required license/certification: Driving Licence.
