Online English tutor for academic preparation
eTalk International Online English School is looking for English teachers to conduct online classes for teens.
Location: Conveniently teach remote from your own home
Classes: 50-minute 1 on 1 classes.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Schedule: Tuesday at 5 pm; Saturday, Sunday 9 am – 2 pm (London time)
Payment: 15-25 GBP/ 60 min
What you need: all you need is a computer, decent internet, and a headset.
Responsibilities:
- To train children aged 14-17 who go to study at a boarding school in the UK
- To provide an academic background (academic English, essay writing, self-presentation skills), basic subject-specific academic preparation on request (each student can request targeted support in a particular subject area)
Requirements:
- Degree from a recognised UK institution
- Possession of at least one teaching certification: TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, TKT, or a local teacher certificate
- Proven teaching experience
- Proficiency in academic English
- In-depth knowledge of academic English, as well as the terminology used in the exact sciences (such as physics, mathematics, and chemistry) and the humanities (such as history, geography, and political science)
