Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Cardiac nurse specialist team on a secondment or fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave for 9 months, with a view to a future permanent position.
The team comprises highly skilled Cardiac Advanced Clinical Practitioners and Specialist nurses in electrophysiology, heart failure, and acute coronary syndrome. We are seeking a motivated Cardiac Nurse Specialist to support all aspects of patient flow through the Cardiac department, including outpatient management and ongoing patient support. Experience in managing cardiac conditions requiring timely intervention and excellent communication skills are essential.
The role involves working in various settings within the Cardiac directorate, primarily supporting the heart failure team. Shift patterns will vary according to service needs.
This role requires an active UK NMC Registration.
Base Location: Royal Bournemouth Hospital
