The Role
Join the team operating services on behalf of one of the UK’s most iconic travel brands. As a Coach Driver on our National Express network, you’ll play a key role in delivering a safe, reliable, and comfortable journey to passengers across the country. Whether you’re driving long-distance or regional routes, you’ll be the face of our service – professional, courteous, and committed to exceptional customer service.
We Currently Have Open Vacancies On
*550/540 service ‘Late’ rota:*
- 550 operates between Liverpool and Birmingham (no London driving)
- 540 operates between Manchester and Milton Keynes (no London driving)
- Average 41.5 hours per week before overtime (with meal allowance, effective weekly average payable hours of 46.0)
- £10 tax free meal allowance payable on all duties
- Earliest start time – 14:15
- Latest finish time – 03:00
- 5 on/3 off working pattern
170/423/421 Service ‘Night’ Rota
- 170 operates between Liverpool and Leeds
- 423/421 operates between Liverpool and Birmingham (no London driving)
- Average 40.5 hours per week before overtime (with meal allowance, effective weekly average payable hours of 43.5)
- £10 tax free meal allowance payable on some duties
- Earliest start time – 00:00
- Latest finish time – 10:30
- Three rest days in most weeks, with at least two in others

You Must Meet The Following Essential Criteria
- A full, UK PCV (Category D) Licence
- At least 12 month\’s driving experience.
- A valid Digital Tachograph card (not essential at application stage, but must have one prior to start on duty)
- A Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
- A maximum of 6 penalty points
- No unspent criminal convictions
