NDT Technician
Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne
What you can expect
Due to our continued growth, our UK office in Newcastle upon Tyne is looking to add to our team of multi-skilled NDT technicians. The role involves supporting and expanding the delivery of field verification projects for our UK and worldwide clients, primarily related to the pipeline industry. Successful candidates will be required to travel nationally and internationally to perform various Non-Destructive Tests on client assets, as well as participate in analysis—desk and laboratory-based—and follow-up work with engineers from other disciplines to provide comprehensive service to our clients.

What you will bring
- Minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience
- Qualified to minimum PCN Level II in MT, UT 3.1, 3.2, or equivalent
- Ability to work effectively with internal and external clients
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Desire to develop knowledge in pipeline integrity and inspection surveys
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic IT systems
- Ambition to grow and develop the business through quality work
Desirable qualifications
- Familiarity with manufacturing techniques of vintage pipe and plate
- Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and best practices for pipeline inspection
- Additional qualifications such as P11, API 570, abrasive wheels, confined spaces, EUSR gas safety
