Multi Drop Driver – Alliance Healthcare
Join our team as a Multi Drop Driver at Alliance Healthcare (Cencora). We are looking for an experienced and reliable driver to support our wholesale distribution services in Europe.
Job Details
Location: Cornwall Link Point – PL26 8RA
Hours per week: Minimum 48 hours – 6 day working week: Monday‑Friday (full days) plus Saturday morning.
Salary: £35,642.88
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 3.5‑tonne van to complete assigned daily pharmaceutical deliveries.
- Load and unload totes onto the van while maintaining their integrity and security.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries made and any other relevant information.
- Communicate effectively with the transport team to relay updates or address issues during the delivery process.
- Complete daily vehicle checks to ensure the van is roadworthy.
- Lift tote bins up to 25 kg.
- Carry out upwards of 50 high‑volume deliveries per day.
Requirements
- Valid manual driver’s licence with no more than 3 ‘live’ points.
- Proven experience as a Multi Drop Van Driver or similar role.
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and assigned delivery routes.
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently whilst meeting delivery schedules.
