You will oversee a portfolio of exciting residential, commercial, and public sector projects. This is your chance to play a key role in ensuring build quality, regulatory compliance, and client satisfaction on every site you visit.
What youll be doing
- Acting as the eyes and ears on site for our clients, ensuring workmanship meets agreed specifications and quality standards
- Carrying out regular site inspections and reporting findings in a clear and timely manner
- Monitoring contractor performance, resolving issues early, and ensuring work aligns with project drawings and specifications
- Collaborating with project managers, architects, and contractors to uphold the highest construction standards
- Verifying materials and workmanship comply with contract documents and statutory regulations
- Producing concise, evidence-backed reports and updates for stakeholders
Clerk of Works
- Proven experience in a Clerk of Works role or similar site-based quality assurance position
- Strong knowledge of building regulations, health & safety, and construction best practice
- Ability to read technical drawings and spot inconsistencies or issues early
- Excellent communication skills confident liaising with contractors and clients alike
- Membership of ICWCI (or working toward) is a strong advantage
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Kent
