Job overview
Under the supervision of the Unit Manager you will be responsible for the provision, organisation and direction of nursing care of the patients in your care. You will need to communicate effectively with all members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and high quality care is provided to all patients.
NHS Employees should ideally secure their manager’s agreement for a secondment arrangement ideally prior to applying, as this will be a condition of any offer made. This vacancy is advertised on a fixed term basis as It has been established to provide cover for an absent employee and will end in 6 months or when the substantive postholder returns. Whilst this post is advertised on an acting / secondment basis there is the potential that this post may become permanent in the future.

In conjunction with senior nursing staff and specialist nurses participate in the setting/monitoring and evaluation of standards of care to patients.
To communicate effectively with all members of multi-disciplinary team regarding patient care.
To assist with the investigation and timely resolution of complaints and PALS enquiries.

- Proof of continuing professional development

Experience
- Experience of working autonomously and as a member of a team.
- Experience within Gynaecology nursing
