DN Colleges Group is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Trainer/Assessor in Plumbing & Gas to join our Construction Apprenticeships team. Essential Criteria

  • Level 3 qualification in Plumbing and Heating
  • A1 and V1 Assessor Awards (or equivalent)
  • GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or above (or equivalent)
  • Relevant industrial experience in plumbing and/or gas
  • Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and assess high‑quality training in Plumbing and Gas to apprentices and full‑time learners
  • Support learners through their qualifications, including reviews and progress tracking
  • Engage with employers to ensure training meets industry needs and standards
  • Maintain accurate records in line with college and awarding body requirements
  • Contribute to curriculum development and continuous quality improvement
