Skispringen Nach WM-Skandal – Skisprung-Trainer suspendiert
Die Suche nach den Schuldigen des Anzug-Skandals von Trondheim hat zu ersten Suspendierungen geführt. Tags darauf wurde auch Assistenztrainer Thomas Lobben entlassen.
Der Skisprung-Skandal um vorsätzlich manipulierte Anzüge hat bei den Norwegern zu personellen Konsequenzen auf Führungsebene geführt. Trainer Magnus Brevig wurde am Montag (10.03.2025), dem Tag nach dem Ende der Nordischen Ski-WM in Trondheim, ebenso suspendiert wie der involvierte Mitarbeiter Adrian Livelten.
Am Dienstag gab der norwegische Verband bekannt, dass auch Assistenztrainer Lobben suspendiert wurde. Laut NSF wurde Lobben aufgrund interner Nachforschungen aus dem Verkehr gezogen. Er gab zu, in die Entscheidung zur Manipulation der Anzüge involviert gewesen zu sein, und entschuldigte sich bei den disqualifizierten Springern Marius Lindvik und Johann André Forfang.

Der Verband zieht die Konsequenzen aus dem Anzug-Betrug, der durch anonym gefilmte Videos bekannt wurde. Diese zeigen, wie das norwegische Team im Beisein von Brevig die Wettkampfanzüge unzulässig modifizierte, indem sie eine nicht erlaubte Naht anbrachten, die für mehr Stabilität sorgen soll. Diese zusätzliche Stabilität verbessert die Flugfähigkeit der Springer.
Norcic übernimmt Traineramt
Trainer Aalbu kündigte Konsequenzen an, betonte jedoch, er habe von den Praktiken nichts gewusst.
