We’re looking for an ambitious and detail-oriented finance professional to join our Group Finance team on a fixed-term basis. You will be joining a team of 8 within Group Finance, responsible for delivering the Group’s Annual Report and Accounts and the Half Yearly Financial Statements. We work collaboratively to ensure the integrity of group financial information, with a strong focus on quality, controls, and continuous improvement. What Will You Be Doing?
You will have the opportunity to be involved in:
- Leading the month-end group consolidation process, including posting consolidation adjustments, and reviewing submissions from subsidiaries.
- Operating and enhancing the group consolidation controls framework and associated procedures.
- Liaising with subsidiaries to support accurate reporting and provide insight into the group financial results. Partnering with internal stakeholders across the wider finance function.
- Supporting the delivery of the Group’s statutory reporting obligations, including external audit coordination.
- Assisting in the implementation and refinement of reporting processes within Workday, our financial systems platform.
What Do We Need From You?
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) ideally with 1-5 years of post-qualification experience.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, ideally within a group or multi-entity environment
- Experience with Workday or similar finance system is desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across teams and with auditors.
- A willingness to learn, contribute ideas, and take ownership of key deliverables.
