Fixed Term Contract for 12 months

What’s the job all about?
Responsibilities
- Perform regular checks and audits on meat and non-meat ingredients (GMP, traceability, fabrication etc.) to monitor compliance with food safety requirements and prepare the necessary reports
- Calibrate scales, temperature probes and other measuring devices
- Collect micro samples, water samples and environmental swabs
- Monitor production lines to ensure product safety, quality and compliance with customer’s requirements
- Co-ordinate and take part in daily taste panels and logging results into Excel spreadsheets
- Audit production documentation and procedures in place for foreign body controls including glass and hard plastic audits
