Saturday 08:00-11:00

£22.18 per hour rising to £22.88 September 1st 2025

35 weeks per year.

Based in the stunning setting of the Precincts of Canterbury Cathedral and St Augustine\’s Abbey, a World Heritage Site, The King\’s School is one of the oldest and most prestigious Schools in the country with an enviable record of academic excellence and achievement.

The King\’s School Sports Centre are looking for experienced Level 2 Swimming Instructors to join their friendly, highly recommended, and professional team.

The Centre\’s extensive swimming programme includes lessons for Discovery Duckling & Duckling, Learn to Swim Stages 1 to 7, Swim Academy (Stage 8 and above), Adults (beginners, improvers and training), Crash Courses and Private lessons.

The successful candidates should have a strong background in aquatics and have a true love of teaching, including experience of teaching and coaching adults.

Pre-requisites for the post include:

Essential

Level 2 Teaching Swimming Qualification

Desirable

Level 2 Teaching Swimming to Babies and Toddlers

Level 1 Coaching Qualification

Current Lifesaving or Teachers Rescue Qualification

Additional hours are available during term breaks for crash courses and private lessons.
