Prysmian Group’s business is the area of the High Voltage (HV) business dedicated to providing specialist technical services to a wide range of customers. Our ENS business operates a team of engineers, cable jointers and fluid technicians and our 24-hour call out rota system couples with our emergency hotline to ensure that we can provide a response 24 hours a day.
We are currently looking for an Apprentice to join the High Voltage Systems Commercial team, assisting with the Energy Network Solutions (ENS) projects . You will have the opportunity to gain experience and understanding in the following;
- Manage enquiries received into the ENS business for work quotations.
- Working with relevant departments / subcontractors to compile commercial tenders
- Working closely with operational staff to plan resource and materials.
- Assist with operational delivery of works.
- Co-ordinate / Assist with the tender review and financial forecast process.
All activities will be under supervision initially and you will have the opportunity to learn about various computer software packages to support the work carried out. As you gain in experience, you will be given lots of opportunities to develop and take additional responsibility.
As part of the apprenticeship, you will be studying for a Business Management and Leadership Degree.
This position benefits from a flexible working arrangement; 25 days holiday in addition to Bank Holidays; a health cash plan scheme; share purchase scheme in addition to other benefits.
This role is based in our offices near the Eastleigh town centre. The address is Prysmian Cables & Systems Limited, Chickenhall Lane, Eastleigh, SO50 6YU. There are good transport links to Eastleigh and the site is approximately 15 minutes walk from the railway station. We are able to offer free car parking next to our offices.
