The Social Value Stakeholder Manager will be based on our Derby scheme and will also virtually support our KexGill scheme. The Social Value Stakeholder Manager will lead the implementation of a professional, competent, and knowledge-sharing social value and stakeholder engagement culture across your projects and frameworks, ensuring that best practices are planned, implemented, and shared effectively. This is a site-based role with some opportunity for hybrid working on a project-by-project basis.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and execute the Stakeholder and Social Value Plans and implement relevant parts of the Sisk Management System.
- Develop and update Stakeholder Trackers and Stakeholder Action Trackers.
- Develop and implement framework-level strategies and documentation.
- Support stakeholder communications, including out-of-hours cover as necessary.
- Assist Regional Social Value and Stakeholder Manager in understanding client requirements.
- Line management responsibility for Advisors and/or Apprentices.
- Attend supplier, client, and project meetings as necessary.
- Act as the lead contact between client communications and social value teams.
- Report achievements, outputs, issues, and risks using Sisk and client templates within agreed periods.
- Investigate query/complaint events and implement controls to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with staff, clients, and suppliers to understand and improve industry and business practices.
- Perform ad hoc duties related to social value and stakeholder roles as required.
- Develop procedures and share best practices in social value or stakeholder management.
- Assume Social Value and Stakeholder Advisor or Champion responsibilities as needed.
- Lead case study production and celebrate successes.
- Support and share best practices with the wider teams, including contributing to tender content.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Follow assurance processes and support external audits.
- Support delivery and reporting of social value and stakeholder management requirements.
- Support and report on the Considerate Constructors Scheme.
- Stay updated on standards and legislation, recommending changes as necessary.
- Minimum 5 years in the construction industry, with 4 in social value/stakeholder roles.
- Full valid driver’s license and flexibility to travel.
- Effective communicator, both written and oral.
- Good time management, organization, and record-keeping skills.
- Patient, empathetic, and engaging interpersonal skills.
- Proficient IT skills.
- Influential and assertive.
- Strong people management skills.
- Ability to work well in teams and independently.

Preferred Qualifications/Training
- Level 4 or equivalent in Communications, Social Value, Project Management, or similar.
- Actively working towards Level 5 or equivalent qualification.
- Working towards professional accreditation in Communications, CSR, or Social Value.
