The Skills Academy is focused on providing fairer futures for those Students needing to build their skills for progression. We are seeking passionate individuals that can develop the employability and wider skills of Students needing to undertake a Study Programme at Level 1. Applicants need to be keen to support students to raise their aspirations and support their development enabling them to access further study.
All Skills Academy students study core skills that cover English, Maths, Digital and Employability Skills. Students also have the unique opportunity to study either a specialist vocational pathway in one of our many vocational specialisms or alternatively study up to 3 blocks in different vocational specialisms offering a unique bespoke Study Programme for those needing support to decide upon their future career.
The successful candidate will be part of the new Team delivering this unique skills based Study Programme. We are keen to talk to candidates with experience of raising aspirations and supporting Students to overcome barriers they might have previously experienced in education. The main focus of the role will be delivering on the core skills programme with potential opportunities for you to deliver a vocational specialism depending on your knowledge, skills, or industry background.
