Are you an experienced Bookkeeper looking to join a dynamic and friendly accountancy practice in the heart of Worcester?
Our client, a proactive firm of accountants, is seeking a confident and capable Bookkeeper to manage a small portfolio of clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive team environment with excellent working conditions and flexibility.
Bookkeeper Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping and preparation of VAT returns
Management accounts for a portfolio of clients
Exposure to Self Assessment Tax Returns for sole proprietors
Occasional payroll support
Liaising with clients to resolve day-to-day queries Bookkeeper profile:
Previous experience in an accountancy practice (preferred)
AAT/ICB qualified or QBE (qualified by experience)
Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
Proactive, self-motivated and commercially aware
Able to manage workload independently and meet deadlines
High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Own transport required for client visits Tech Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Experience with Xero, Iris, QuickBooks and Brightpay (desirable) What\’s on Offer:
