An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Trainee Anaesthetic Nurse to join our dynamic, friendly, and forward-thinking team.
We are currently recruiting qualified nurses with a minimum of 12 months theatre experience to work in our theatre department and attend Bolton University to complete the anaesthetic module over a 6-month period. Our department offers a wide range of specialties including general surgery, trauma, elective orthopaedics, oncoplastic breast, gynaecology, obstetrics, ENT, and oral maxillofacial surgery.
The Trust appreciates and values the contribution international nurses bring to the NHS. We understand the support overseas nurses need to gain full registration in the UK (via OSCE). Currently, we only recruit internationally to fill nursing vacancies when support is in place. At this time, we are not in a position to offer that support, and therefore, we will not accept applications from overseas nurses with only Part 1 NMC registration. If this position changes, we will advertise opportunities for international nurses to join our team in Bolton. Thank you for your understanding.
Whether you are just starting your career or are experienced with transferable skills, we would like to discuss opportunities to join us and care for patients during a vulnerable time in their lives, aiming for optimal patient outcomes. We will provide technical skills training and one-to-one support from our dedicated Practice Educator and Clinical Skills Facilitator.
As an organization, we are committed to placing patients at the center of everything we do, ensuring safe, effective, and dignified care. We seek staff who share these values.
You will be highly motivated, with a positive attitude, and join an innovative, proactive team to deliver safe, clean, and personalized care based on evidence-based practice. You must be a registered nurse with current NMC registration.
The post requires flexibility to respond to organizational needs, including working flexible hours across a 24-hour schedule, weekends, and on-call duties.
Bolton NHS Foundation Trust aims to be a leader in our field. We foster a supportive culture that helps staff excel and achieve better patient care. Our core values are:
- Vision
- Openness
