We are currently working with a leading engineering business who are currently seeking a Skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join their established production team based in Worcestershire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and takes pride in high-quality workmanship.

The Role:

As a Sheet Metal Fabricator, you will play a key role in the fabrication of components in accordance with industry best practices and internal quality standards.

Duties will include:

  • TIG welding of stainless steel sheet materials
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Operating fabrication equipment such as press brakes and guillotines
  • Participating in assembly, packing, and other related tasks as needed
  • Ensuring equipment is maintained and working areas remain safe and tidy
  • Supporting continuous improvement in processes and equipment

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a stainless steel sheet metal fabricator
  • Proficiency in TIG welding (non-coded acceptable)
  • Ability to work from technical drawings
  • Competence using press brakes, guillotines, and other metal fabrication tools
  • A flexible, proactive, and safety-conscious approach
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • GCSE Grade C/4 or higher in Maths and English is preferred but not essential
