Technical Business Analyst
Hybrid working: 3 days onsite per week
Are you a detail-oriented Business Analyst with a passion for driving impactful change in the financial services sector? Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Analyst to join their growing team.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate business and technical requirements into actionable solutions. You’ll support the full project lifecycle, from data modelling and process mapping to defining test cases and validating outcomes. Your work will directly influence the development of innovative financial products, including payments, lending, and collections platforms.
Key Skills
- Understanding of APIs, databases, and system integrations.
- Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, SQL, Visio, and data visualisation platforms.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience with UI/UX designing and wireframing (desirable).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities/projects.
- Experience with financial products such as payments, lending, or collection platforms (desirable).
- Experience following change management processes and supporting change delivery in a controlled environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional specifications.
- Work with development teams to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with business goals.
- Create data models, user journeys, UI/UX designs, process flows, and system diagrams to support solution design.
- Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and root cause analysis.
- Support QA and UAT by defining acceptance criteria, test cases, and validating outcomes.
