About the Platform Lift Engineer Role:
You will be responsible for servicing, fault-finding, and repairing a range of platform lift systems across domestic and commercial sites throughout North London .
Platform Lift Engineer Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out scheduled service visits on vertical and inclined platform lifts
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
- Perform safety checks and ensure systems meet compliance standards
- Maintain accurate service records and customer reports
- Participate in the on-call rota for emergency breakdowns
Platform Lift Engineer Requirements:
- Proven experience servicing and repairing platform lifts
- Knowledge of brands such as Aritco, Cibes, Motala, Liftup – highly desirable
- Strong diagnostic, electrical, and mechanical skills
- NVQ Level 2 in Platform Lift Service & Repair – preferred
- Full UK Driving Licence – essential
- Able to read technical drawings and work independently
- Professional, customer-focused approach with a strong safety mindset
