This is a strategic post due to succession planning of retirements to occur within the next 3-4 Years in this group. For someone that’s career motivated there is a real career opportunity to head up to Construction Director. Can you make good decisions on site, work in a fast paced environment and add solutions to challenges that occur? Examples of Live Projects * South East London – £45 Million Industrial Warehouse Facility * Nottingham – £105 Million Industrial & Logistics Warehouse Facility * West London – £125 Million Data Centre * Manchester – Airport Hangar Facilities Client * Buildings Main Contractor * Turning over £700 Million across UK & Ireland * Strong financial position and incredibly profitable * Inhouse capability from Design & supporting divisions such as Concrete, Facades & MEP The Role * Trouble shooting and understanding what is halting progress on site – talk to the supply chain and project teams * Add value at pre-construction stages able to add value throughout the life cycle process from bid to handover * Push the best quality and safety standards. Ensuring everyone works and gets home safe ! * Ensuring that no corners are cut on site from the top to bottom * Looking to produce the best finished quality project you can * Manage client expectations to ensure repeat custom Before applying * Bachelor’s Degree OR trades background the client is open minded * Can you technically read drawings, pull programs apart and understand build abilities from first principles * Does your CV show loyalty and success in permanent employment * Are you keen to get exposure to Major Projects worth £60 Million + * Are you open to travel and working away during the week * Do you have the people skills and motivation to drive all parties to successful handover completions Benefits for the right person * Basic Salary Range of £(phone number removed) * 10% Car Allowance * Business Miles Paid * Private Medical & Life cover * Performance Bonus up to 12.5 % in first year and 20% in second year * Looking to start employment before the 1st of October * Able to attend face to face interview in the UK and hold the right to work as no sponsorship is offered for this post
