Connaught Resourcing is partnered with an established provider of specialist nursing services to appoint permanent Diabetes Specialist Nurses to join their national diabetes team. The roles in question are hybrid positions with no weekend working involved. Our client has an exceptional reputation for providing guideline level care for patients with diabetes and respiratory conditions in both primary and secondary care across the UK. In this role you will be responsible for carrying out patient reviews and conducting specialist clinics, using your in-depth knowledge to advise and support general practice staff. You will have the opportunity to work in specialist clinics, homes and from home as part of this hybrid position. This position requires travel across the Manchester region for clinic duties. Travel distances will be based on your home postcode, with clinics located within a 1-1.5 hour radius. In order to qualify for this role, you must have the following: Diabetes diploma or equivalent A minimum of 3 years experience (post registration) managing diabetes within primary care Knowledgeable and confident in the provision of education, support and advice to people with Type 2 Diabetes Skills and knowledge in the optimisation of oral hypoglycaemics Full driving licence Current NMC registration IT literacy, to include primary care systemsPay Rates: £(phone number removed) (dependent on qualifications and level of experience) Hours: Full-time – five days per week (Monday to Friday, 8:30-17:30) Part-time – four days a week (Between Monday to Friday, 8:30-17:30)The nature of the hybrid working options are at the employer\’s discretion Our client can offer the following benefits: Hybrid working Annual bonus incentive scheme (worth up to 10% of salary) Company car or car allowance + fuel card for business miles 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays (increasing after 5 years service) – pro rata for part time Company pension Private medical insurance Daily lunch allowance when in practice NMC/RCN fees reimbursed Monthly broadband contribution Nurse Progression Pathway for career development Company events Company sick pay Laptop and mobile phone providedThis is an opportunity to join a leading independent medical services provider in a hybrid, weekday working capacity on either a full or part time basis.
