Groundworker required to work for Civil Engineering Contractor on a site based in Pangbourne, Berkshire. The work is based on a water treatment site, previous Groundwork experience working within the water industry would be preferred but not essential. • Install underground drainage systems, including laying pipes, connecting manholes, and ensuring correct falls and levels. • Prepare sub-bases for concrete slabs, including excavation, compacting, and setting up formwork. • Carry out concrete finishing tasks such as floating, trowelling, and power floating to achieve specified surface finishes. • Operate small plant and machinery such as trench rollers, wacker plates, and concrete vibrators as required. Groundworker will need a valid CSCS Card, Thames Water Passport – if you do not have a Thames Water Passport but would like to be considered for the positions please still apply as we will look to get you onto the course to complete the Thames Water Passport
