Statistical Returns Officer Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire About Us Three Rivers District in South West Hertfordshire straddles the north west corner of the M25 on the edge of Greater London. The district is a mixture of beautiful countryside, villages and small towns. The area has a diverse range of sectors and businesses and is a centre for the film industry with Warner Brothers at Leavesden forming part of a studio cluster along with Elstree and Pinewood at a short drive away. We’re now looking for a Statistical Returns Officer to join our Revenues and Benefits team on a full-time basis. The Role As a Statistical Returns Officer, you’ll focus on our revenues and benefits data, ensuring it is accurate, reliable and ready to drive data-driven decision making, policy development and performance monitoring. Specifically, you’ll gather statistical information and identify trends, patterns, and anomalies and create clear reports whilst ensuring returns are accurate, complete and timely. Keeping up with any new legislation, methodologies and data collection requirements, you’ll work closely with other departments to make sure our stats are always of a high standard and used effectively. About You To be considered as a Statistical Returns Officer, you’ll need: – Experience of working in a Revenues and Benefits Service – Experience of working with customer data – Knowledge of the government returns required for completion – The ability to lead and influence – Expertise in data interpretation and visualisation – The ability to manipulate complex data sets using a range of tools – Knowledge of the statistical outputs within the Revenues and Benefits Service and other connected services – Excellent accuracy and a reliable approach A basic DBS check will be carried out for this post.
