Class 1 Tanker Driver (Bulk) – Permanent Position Location: Motherwell Shifts: Days, Nights & Weekends (Flexibility Required) Employment Type: Permanent Pay Rates & Allowances: Day Rate: £21.14/hour Night Rate: £26.02/hour Weekend Allowance: £115.02 per day (on top of hourly rate) Bank Holiday Allowance: £245.94 (+ £14.66/hour over 8hrs) Xmas Day Allowance: £368.34 (+ £14.66/hour over 8hrs) Call-Out (Mon–Fri): £73.56 Call-Out (Sat–Sun): £36.86 Overtime Premium (After 8 Hours): £14.66/hour Overnight Subsistence: £65.24 (1st night), £86.65 (subsequent nights) Holiday Entitlement: 25 days + 8 bank holidays (rising to 26 + 8 after 10 years) Breaks Paid: Yes Key Responsibilities: Deliver bulk liquid product to customers safely and efficiently Perform tanker/trailer checks, refuelling, and coupling/uncoupling Adhere to strict safety standards and legal compliance (tachographs, inspections, etc.) Communicate effectively with dispatch, transport management, and site teams Maintain accurate records on handheld devices, including proof of delivery What You Need: LGV Class 1 Licence (held for at least 3 years) No more than 3 penalty points ADR Licence (Class 2 in tanks) Experience with bulk tanker driving Strong understanding of EU driving and WTD legislation The Ideal Candidate Will Be: Flexible with shift patterns and national travel Safety-conscious and compliant with operational standards Proactive in communication and committed to service excellence Ready to Drive the Future of Bulk Transport?
