The Company We are currently collaborating with a specialist cladding company based in Surrey, which works globally in the design, supply, and installation of high-performance rain screen cladding and traditional handset cladding systems. With nearly 20 years of experience in the industry, the company works on large-scale packages across Residential, commercial, and Education schemes across London and the southeast. The Role As an Estimator, you will play a critical role in securing new work and helping drive the company’s commercial success. You will be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive, and compelling estimates and quotations for façade and cladding packages typically involving stone, technical stone, porcelain, brick slip, metal, and terracotta systems. This is a hybrid, client-facing role that combines technical understanding with commercial acumen, working closely with both external stakeholders and internal teams. Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Prepare detailed estimates and quotations for façade and cladding packages, typically involving stone, technical stone, porcelain, brick slip, metal, or terracotta systems * Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation * Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing * Work with the design and technical teams to develop value-engineered solutions * Present and explain cost breakdowns and proposals to clients and internal stakeholders * Attend site visits, pre-tender meetings, and client presentations when required * Maintain and update estimating databases and pricing libraries * Track tender outcomes and provide reporting on win/loss rates and performance metrics * Contribute to the continuous improvement of estimating processes
