SEN Projects Officer 3 Month Initial Contract £300 per day (inside IR35, via umbrella company) Hybrid role (1 – 2 days per week onsite) Start ASAP The SEN Projects Officer plays a crucial role in supporting the statutory SEN Team by ensuring the accuracy of data, maintaining EHC Plans, and driving process improvements. This role combines elements of project coordination, data integrity, and administrative support, with a strong emphasis on SEND knowledge and independent project work. Key Responsibilities Ensure data accuracy across systems, particularly aligning records and logging updates correctly. Support the consultant leading the project, providing administrative and project coordination support. Work independently on smaller projects, managing timelines and deliverables. Use project management tools (e.g., Gantt charts) to track progress and identify gaps. Review and align role definitions and responsibilities within the team. Maintain and update information in Synergy (experience with this system is highly desirable). Collaborate with families and service providers to uphold coproduced practice standards. Assist with training, workforce planning, and continuous service improvement. Ensure statutory duties are met in relation to EHC Plans and appropriate placements.Essential Skills & Experience Background in SEND and understanding of EHC Plans and statutory processes. Experience in a project officer or project support role, ideally within a local authority or education setting. Strong data management and system reconciliation skills. Familiarity with Synergy or similar case management systems. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
