Job Title: Assistant Site Manager – Precast Project Location: Bristol Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent Start Date: ASAP About the Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Assistant Site Manager to join our team on an exciting precast construction project in Bristol. Working closely with the Site Manager and project delivery team, you’ll play a key role in coordinating day-to-day site operations, ensuring health and safety compliance, and supporting the successful delivery of the project to time, cost, and quality targets. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in construction—ideally with precast experience—who is looking to take the next step in their site management career. Key Responsibilities: * Support the Site Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the precast project. * Coordinate subcontractors and site labour. * Monitor site progress and ensure works are completed safely and to specification. * Maintain quality control procedures and documentation. * Ensure all health & safety regulations are met and enforced. * Assist with logistics, materials ordering, and site reporting. * Attend and contribute to site meetings and toolbox talks. Requirements: * Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager or Site Supervisor in construction. * Experience working on precast concrete projects is highly desirable. * SMSTS or SSSTS (essential). * CSCS card (essential). * First Aid at Work (preferred). * Strong communication and leadership skills. * Good understanding of health & safety regulations and site procedures. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
