ICT Technician urgently required to join the team at the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service Headquarters based in Knockbracken Healthcare Park.

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday between 9am 5pm with an hourly pay rate of £15.33. Initially this role will be for 3months on a temporary basis with the possibility of an extension based on job performance.

The main duties will include and are not limited to, providing technical end user support and undertake complex fault diagnosis and resolution for a full range of ICT Systems, undertake routine maintenance and fault analysis, diagnosis , undertake regular site visits for the deployment, reconfiguration, maintenance and emergency repair of IT and Telephony equipment and assist in the installation, testing, repair and maintenance of all new and existing hardware and software applications.

What We Need From You

  • University degree or equivalent in ICT discipline subject with a minimum of 1 year experience

Or

  • Four years plus experience without degree or equivalent in the installation and support of a full range of network based computer equipment, such as personal computers, printers and data switches
  • Experience troubleshooting and configuration of devices such as Hubs, Switches and Routers
  • Working knowledge and experience of Help Desk Management Systems and Internet Portal Systems and Technologies
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
