Northern Ireland Account Chief Technology Architect

Location: Northern Ireland

Your role

We are seeking an Account Chief Technical Architect to serve as a trusted advisor to public sector clients and as the technical lead for our delivery team. This key role involves solving critical customer challenges with innovative technology solutions, providing thought leadership, developing strategic roadmaps, and fostering innovation. As part of our Northern Ireland leadership team within the public sector, you will influence our strategic direction.

You should have a strong understanding of the Northern Ireland political landscape and be able to engage confidently with senior government officials. Excellent communication skills are essential to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences. Building strong relationships with senior technical and digital stakeholders will position Fujitsu as a trusted digital partner capable of addressing major business challenges.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing a technology vision: Creating proposals, strategic roadmaps, collaborating with partners, and building relationships with IT and business leaders.
  • Leading technical excellence: Acting as the technical authority, ensuring solution integrity, and guiding a team of architects.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with decision-makers at the CDIO and CTO levels.
  • Driving innovation by introducing new solutions and approaches.
  • Establishing industry presence through thought leadership, speaking engagements, and social media.
  • Fostering collaboration within the public sector and Fujitsu teams.
  • Understanding customer challenges to deliver value through digital technology.
  • Owning the digital roadmap aligned with customer needs and Fujitsu offerings.
  • Supporting proposal development and demonstrating Fujitsu\’s capabilities.
  • Serving as a trusted advisor and industry representative.

Maintaining technical standards:

  • Providing technical approval and governance oversight.
  • Offering feedback to product portfolios.
  • Mentoring technologists and developing their skills.
  • Ensuring technical alignment in pre-sales and delivery activities.
  • Engaging with partners to leverage their capabilities.

Your experience

You should have experience leading architecture teams in customer-facing roles across AI, Applications, Data, Hybrid IT, and Digital Workplace domains. You should be comfortable in a leadership role, passionate about solving business problems with innovative technology solutions.
