Mechanical Day Shift Engineer – Continental Day Shift – Commerical office –Liverpool Street, London – up to £45,000 Per annum Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Property company based in London. CBW is currently recruiting for a day-shift engineer to be based at across three tenant floors in a commercial office in Liverpool Street. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified mechanical engineer with a proven track record in commercial/property building maintenance and be able to turn their hand to a variety of maintenance tasks. He or she will be required to carry out mechanical planned and reactive maintenance across these three corporate floors. Working with the maintenance team on site (Team of 4). He or she will be required to have an understanding/hands-on experience of the below. Package & Hours of Work Up to £45,000 4 on 4 off 6 on 6 off, Shift Pattern 07:00 am to 19:00 pm Uniform and Tools Provided Cycle to work scheme 22 days holiday Overtime Available Pension Internal Progression & Development Key Duties & Responsibilities Monitor mechanical plant Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings Air Conditioning – Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Units (Filter changes, cleaning) Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing) Plumbing – Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc Monitor the BMS systems. Basic electrical duties (Lamp changes etc) General building fabric Escort specialist subcontractors Ensure that the Contractual efficiently meets all the relevant KPI & SLA requirements. Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner. Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them. Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required. Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues. Report service affecting issued to the site management team for formal communication with the client. Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.
