A little bit about the role… Dyer & Butler are seeking Assistant Land and Utility Surveyors to join our Survey team. Primarily supporting our Aviation, Defence and Adjacent Markets sectors covering projects around the Southeast and Midlands. The Survey team provides technical services to a range of construction related disciplines, including invaluable support to our divisional teams and departments within design and construction phases of projects. This role is suitable for college leavers, graduates, those wishing to transfer their existing skill set to the Geomatics Industry, or existing Assistant Surveyors looking to fast track their way into Surveying.As an Assistant Land and Utility Surveyor in aviation, you will be: Assisting and learning from other surveyors undertaking utility and land surveys. Able to work as part of a team and otherwise integrate and work with all other members of staff.A little bit about you… Full UK driving license. 5yr Traceable employment / studying records. Ability and willingness to work flexibly (day/night shift / away from base location). Basic computer skills (Excel, Word etc). Ability to work as part of a team and desire to learn new skills or develop existing ones.Desirable: Basic site experience / CSCS accreditation. Ability to interpret technical information and drawings.
