Located less than 30 Minutes drive from Basingstoke, 45 Minutes from Southampton, 10 Minutes from Andover & Salisbury . Project * Design & Build Project * Behind the wire of a secure Military Facility * Bespoke form of contract Client * Cash rich Buildings Main Contractor * Turning Over £500 Million + across UK & Europe * Incredibly client focused and operate in a non aggressive manner. They very much collaborate with the client and supply chain to find win wins for all * Negotiate a huge % of work * 1st Phase of Project negotiated but a huge opportunity for this Main Contractor Responsibilities * Add value through out the life cycle from Detailed Design, Design Management on site , Sub-Contractor Review, Compliance and creating innovative solutions to meet the contract * Are you capable to take control of 1-3 Projects if needed and able to step into a Divisional Design Manager in the future ? * Can you client face and build meaningful relationships * Promote a can do and collaborative relationship with clients, staff & the supply chain * Ensure the highest levels of Design, Engineering & Technology is promoted * Be based on site , no remote working ! Do you match below * Prior Design Management Experience as No1 on site * Clear D&B project experience on Military Projects in the UK, do you have clear framework experience * Understanding of working on the Main Contracting side protecting the contract and managing / driving design within all parties * Strong & clear communication skills * Experience of BIM & IT software packages used on Data Centre Construction Projects (Clash detection) * Technical understanding to read drawings, review program and add value to the SLT * Based within a sensible daily commute of the project or open to staying away during the week if needed as accommodation can be provided as no cost to you * Be honest with yourself here please…. can you work on a UK military establishment and will you pass the checks needed to get on base ?
