Shipping Clerk – Manufacturing & Logistics A global manufacturer of control and safety solutions for rotating equipment is seeking a proactive Shipping Clerk to coordinate the dispatch of finished goods. This role ensures timely, accurate, and compliant shipments both domestically and internationally. Key Responsibilities * Prepare shipping documents and certificates for customs clearance. * Book collections and generate labels per carrier and regulatory standards. * Apply accurate freight charges in ERP systems (e.g., IFS). * Track and obtain proof of delivery (POD); support invoicing. * Provide shipping quotes and recommend appropriate methods to Customer Service. * Liaise with freight forwarders and customer-nominated carriers. * Process consolidated shipments and use customer shipping portals. * Maintain daily shipping reports and updates. * Review commodity codes and assist with trade compliance. * Investigate and resolve shipping-related issues; suggest improvements. * Support training and cross-training of team members. * Follow health, safety, and quality standards; contribute to 5S and continuous improvement efforts. Requirements * Experience with shipping systems or ERP software preferred. * Strong communication and organisational skills. * Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. * Detail-oriented with a positive, team-focused attitude. * Basic knowledge of international shipping and compliance.
