Job Description: QC Product Assessor Reports To: Quality Manager Hours: Full time, Monday to Thursday 08.30 – 17.00, Friday 08.30 – 15.45 Salary: £12.21 per hour Job Responsibilities To carry our product compliance assessments Determine nature and intended use of products Identify compliance category Identify regulations and standards applicable to the product Identify potential compliance shortcomings Specify appropriate requirements, including labelling and instructions for safe use Liaise with company staff to implement requirements Determination of third-party testing Assisting with other area of the Company’s product inspection procedures including stock arrivals Skill Set The role requires completion of records both in written form and screen-based Will need to be PC literate Ability to record and communication observations clearly and succinctly Work largely unsupervised, albeit with access to support from department management and advisers Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of product quality and need for safety compliance A high level of tenacity in ensuring a quality product An ability to use measuring tools and be able to red, understand and apply technical requirements Strive to complete all tasks in a timely manner
