Job Title: Project Surveyor
Location: Bath (Hybrid – 3 days in office, 2 days WFH – flexible for the right candidate)
Salary: 44,425

Role Overview:
This is a key role in the Asset Management team, responsible for managing the delivery of capital refurbishment projects. The successful candidate will balance technical surveying expertise with project management, ensuring works are completed on time, to budget, and to high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver surveying, design, and contract administration services for refurbishment projects
- Act as Principal Designer, with responsibility for compliance, specification and delivery
- Manage health and safety obligations (CDM, asbestos, fire, water, gas, electrics)
- Provide project forecasting, progress tracking, and cost control
- Engage with local planning authorities and ensure statutory compliance (especially given Bath\’s listed buildings and conservation areas)
- Lead procurement in line with value-for-money principles
- Maintain accurate financial and performance reporting for projects
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Professionally qualified or with substantial relevant experience in surveying/project management
- Strong experience in refurbishment project design and delivery
- Excellent understanding of property-related health & safety compliance
- Proven ability to manage budgets, risk, and multiple stakeholders
- Strong organisational, communication, and commercial skills
