Overview
Full time post (36 hours per week; 52 weeks per year). As a senior technical practitioner with a proven track record, you will deliver comprehensive IT support across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line levels, covering all systems and applications provided by the college. In addition, you will take on a specialist lead role focused on the development and administration of Microsoft 365 and the college’s outsourced intranet platform. This role is essential in supporting staff and students by ensuring seamless access to Microsoft 365 services and maintaining dynamic, user-friendly intranet content that enhances communication and productivity across the college.
Main Responsibilities
Provide end-to-end IT support at 1st/2nd/3rd line for staff and students, ensuring efficient resolution of technical issues across all service tiers.
Lead the technical development and administration of Microsoft 365 services, including Teams, SharePoint, and related collaboration tools to support teaching, learning, and administrative functions.
Act as the primary liaison with the intranet provider to manage, maintain, and enhance the college’s digital collaboration platforms.
Ensure seamless access to Microsoft 365 services for staff and students, supporting productivity and communication.
Maintain dynamic, user-friendly intranet content that fosters engagement and improves operational efficiency with content that is up to date, engaging, and aligned with the college’s communication and digital strategy.
Build-up a central hub for digital graphics images, accessible by the designated Intranet leads in curriculum and professional services teams.
Work within our IT cloud team to help design, implement end-to-end project lifecycle from conception to handover, completed to the highest quality.
Work with IT Manager and the rest of the team to scope out the introduction of new Apps in the M365 tenant.
