ASSISTANT GARMENT TECHNOLOGIST

THE ROLE
Reporting to the Senior Garment Technologist, the Assistant Garment Technologist will be responsible for the quality, fit, and performance of all garments from knit, jersey, night and swim, ensuring that garments are made to meet the brand\’s budget and vision.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working across all categories within the technical team from development through to production of the product; liaising where necessary with the relevant product teams
- Support and work with senior techs in fit meetings to develop fitting skills.
- Support the tech team by prepping samples, taking fit comments during the fit process.
- Uploading comments onto internal systems
- Managing the testing, shipment and AQL documents
- Support on wider team projects and admin tasks.
- Participating with the wider technical team on shared projects and training to deliver the business objectives.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS
- Great organisation skills are essential.
- Be able to manage your time and prioritise your workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Have a working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Have fantastic interpersonal skills – build and manage relationships with colleagues and suppliers, being open and honest in communications.
- Enjoy working in a close team but also the ability to take initiative, work flexibly across teams and work independently.
- Have excellent attention to detail.
