Who we are looking for
A Data Architecture Team Leader, who will be responsible for managing a team of Architects responsible for the delivery of design changes to the enterprise data warehouse.
You will be delivering items from large scale changes linked to Business transformative programmes, to minor improvements requested by a single user. You will also be liaising with other departments ensuring a high quality of work, whilst always looking to improve the process by which the team deliver the change.

Preferred skills and experience
- Ability to lead a team of highly technical Architects.
- Line management experience of small to medium sized teams.
- Commercial experience working with ETL and data warehouse platform.
- Knowledge of relational set-based processing through complex SQL queries.
- Awareness of cloud technologies, specifically Google and BigQuery.
- Committed and flexible with a can-do attitude towards work.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
Main Responsibilities
- Acting as a line manager for the Data Warehouse Architecture team.
- Managing, prioritising, and monitoring teamwork streams.
- Managing and maintaining ownership of the enterprise data warehouse design pipeline, ensuring adherence to established design processes, standards, and best practices.
- Gaining an intimate and detailed knowledge of the Business processes and data structures.
- Developing departmental standards and enforcing the adherence to the development process.
- Raising all necessary configuration and change requests required for regulatory compliance.
- Creating and maintaining all relevant documentation.
