Data Quality Analyst 18 Month Fixed Term Contract Location: Home / Gloucester (on site once a week) Salary: £30,000 – £36,000 (+ excellent benefits) Skills: T-SQL, Data Quality, GDPR We are looking to recruit a Data Quality Analyst for a leading public sector organisation undergoing a significant IT transformation. In this role, you\’ll focus on data validation, profiling, and cleansing, helping ensure that information across core systems is accurate, complete, and reliable. You\’ll work across multiple teams to enhance how data is managed and reported, supporting the organisation\’s operational and strategic goals. This is a hybrid role and you will be required to work on site in Gloucester once a week. This is an initial 18 month fixed term contract. What you\’ll be doing: Investigating data inconsistencies and applying corrections to improve accuracy and completeness Writing T-SQL queries to interrogate and validate data Working closely with stakeholders to ensure data quality standards are met Contributing to root cause analysis and helping define long-term improvements Supporting quality assurance processes by maintaining documentation such as data dictionaries and audit trailsWhat we\’re looking for: Strong experience in data validation, cleansing, and profiling Confident in writing T-SQL queries for data analysis Awareness of GDPR, data protection, and information security Ability to communicate complex data issues clearly to technical and non-technical audiences A logical, analytical approach and attention to detail Experience with records management systems is desirable
