OLE Engineers (all levels) Location: UK – mainly remote working Duration: 18 – 24 months Outside IR35 Role Overview We are looking for dedicated Rail OLE Engineers to join our clients Rail team, delivering safe and reliable overhead line systems for rail projects across the UK. You will play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of OLE infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Develop and produce OLE designs, including layout plans, cross-sections, and equipment specifications. Support the delivery of electrification projects from feasibility through to detailed design and construction. Carry out site surveys and assessments to inform design and construction activities. Ensure all designs comply with Network Rail standards and relevant industry regulations. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and clients. Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning phases.Requirements Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering (or equivalent). Experience in OLE design and delivery within the UK rail sector. Knowledge of relevant standards and design software (e.g., Bentley MicroStation, AutoCAD, PLM tools). Strong understanding of safety standards and CDM regulations. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
