Job Title: Production Operative Location: Birchwood, Warrington (WA3 6PJ) Salary: £28,000- £29,000 (DOE) Shifts: Monday- Friday 07:30- 16:00 Contract Type: Permanent Our client operates one of the world\’s most advanced and sustainable biorefineries. By using natural, renewable raw materials, they produce advanced and environmentally friendly biochemicals. As a Production Operative your duties will be: – \” Manufacture of liquid and powder blends, including packaging, storage, and distribution. \” Assist with warehouse duties: loading/unloading, order picking, stock control. \” Operate production equipment: pumps, mixers, agitators, powder blenders, bagging machines. \” Use of FLT to move palletised goods and handle containers. \” Operate bailing machines, industrial cleaners, lifting equipment. \” Use IT systems including SAP for despatches, stock movement, and material scheduling. \” Interact with on-site contractors and oversee their compliance. \” Report faults to the Maintenance Manager. \” Maintain high housekeeping standards and observe company rules. \” Contribute to continuous improvement and uphold quality and EHS standards. The successful Production Operative will have the following skills: – \” Previous experience in a similar production/warehouse role. \” FLT Counterbalance Licence (C/B) – Required. \” IT Literate – SAP experience desirable but not essential. \” Works well as part of a team as well as individually. \” Good attention to detail. \” Effective communicator both written and verbal.
