We are currently working with dynamic and privately owned construction business that has a turnover of £50 million and works predominantly within London and Zone 1 & 2. They offer a boutique and niche approach to clients working on a range of commercial fit out schemes. The business has steadily grown over the last three years and specialises in CAT A & B fit out, specialised works and furniture. They pride themselves on being a fresh and exciting business and were borne out of a desire to underpin true transparency in the construction and fit out industry. Interior Designer This company is currently looking for an Interior Designer to join their fast growing company. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities: * Take the lead on specific projects and coordinating directly with the client and wider project team to ensure the scope of works is captured. * Ownership of all drawings, visualisations, coordination, and schedules relevant to the allocated projects * Oversees all phases of Design Management incl. interaction/coordination with construction, commercial, programme, procurement etc. * Take ownership of technical and statutory elements of projects including design relating to building control and fire nuances * Implement quality control procedures to ensure the design delivery achieves the business’s targets and core values. * Responsible for ensuring on site quality through accurate design and progressive snagging. * Reporting and providing project updates to the Design Director on all allocated projects. * Work closely with the Commercial Manager allocated to the projects to ensure the design aligns with the project budget. * Sourcing, specifying and collating material samples. * Keeping up to date with emerging design trends in the industry * Managing furniture procurement * Contribute to building the business’s sample library. * Produce high quality bid documents, presentations and moodboards for allocated projects. * Responsible for arranging photography, producing marketing material for projects on completion. * Manage design related statutory requirements for projects allocated such as CDM, Building Control, Fire Consultant, Heritage Consultant * Contribute to design presentations and work winning. * Assist in creating content for the business’s social media accounts (Pinterest, Instagram, Linkedin) * Contribute to the company culture in a positive and influential way. * Contribute to assisting the Contracts Manager with programme and procurement management
