Production Supervisor Commercial Vehicle Manufacturer Location: Atworth, Wiltshire Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 Depending on experience Hours: Monday to Friday. The Role We have a fantastic opportunity to join our prestigious bodybuilder brand, as a Production Supervisor at our factory in Wiltshire. We are looking for a semi-productive workshop supervisor to join our new team at our commercial vehicle bodybuilding factory in Wiltshire. We are looking for an experienced and dedicated individual who understands how to lead and inspire a team, as well as undertaking a productive role. If you are someone who is passionate about engaging with our values and delivering quality service levels for customers, this is the role for you! Day to day you will be: · Overseeing the workshop team of bodybuilders and other skilled individuals to ensure quality work, compliance and time management. · Lead and inspire the team around you to be the best they can be and to deliver the highest quality levels of work. · Maintaining all production processes in line with the whole vehicle type approval requirements. · You will ensure all safety, regulatory, rule and company changes/alterations to working practises are adhered to. · Ensuring compliance with company H&S, maintenance procedures & quality control to work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others. · Read engineering and fabrication drawings provided and work from these. · Experience in drilling, jigged and un-jigged assembly to drawings and using power tools safely to do so. · Preferred experience in MIG / TIG welding fabricated parts in accordance with engineering drawings to specific company standards and procedures meeting company and customer requirements. · Installation of insulated panels on commercial freezer bodies · Basic wiring knowledge of lights and fixtures on commercial vehicles · To carry out fabrication work as required, ensuring that stated quality and safety standards and associated procedures are met. · Ensure standards of good housekeeping are achieved in all work areas, including workshops, vehicles and at onsite locations. · Carry out any other reasonable projects, tasks, or duties to support the business as directed by management. · Ensure good personal time keeping and conduct in line with agreed policies and procedures.
