Job Description
The Sureserve Group of businesses provides market-leading compliance and energy services across the UK, with over 3,200 employees working from over 20 offices.
Sureserve Compliance South, part of the Sureserve Group, delivers heating services within the social housing sector across London & the South East. We support our clients across domestic gas, commercial gas, renewables, and electrical services. We are London's largest, most successful gas contractor, focusing on long-term contracts with our clients to offer our staff job security and progression opportunities.
Role
To validate the work of all engineers is performed to the required standards as set out by Gas Safety Regulations and Sureserve Compliance
To identify if the engineer has any gaps in knowledge and feed back to line managers where additional training is required.
Complaints jobs could need to be visited and a clarification of the course of events to be recorded, including poor workmanship, CO concerns and problem jobs.
Follow on from your visit you will need to provide photographic evidence on the PDA and full reports and recommendations.
A QC engineer will ensure sufficient QCs are undertaken across the area throughout the year to meet the client's needs and demonstrate standards are being met.
To ensure the engineer is complying to all health and safety requirements of the business and any equipment issued is fit for purpose without any defects, this will include PPE, Vehicle and ladder checks.
Regular HSE checks will be conducted with each engineer within the geographical coverage of the contract.
The successful candidate will have
- Valid ACS & other relevant gas qualifications
- Full UK Driving Licence (less than 6 points)
- Experience within Social Housing desirable, but not essential
