Job Description
As a Structural E3D Designer, you’ll be responsible for producing accurate 3D models and 2D drawings that support the structural design requirements of complex engineering projects. Working closely with engineers and other design disciplines, you’ll help ensure high-quality, integrated deliverables that meet technical and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 3D models of steel structures, platforms, ladders, stairs, and supports using E3D/PDMS
- Produce fabrication drawings, GA drawings, and material take-offs
- Ensure alignment of structural design with project specifications and industry standards
- Identify and resolve clashes across multi-disciplinary models
- Coordinate with other departments including piping, electrical, and mechanical to support integrated design
- Review and incorporate vendor and subcontractor drawings as needed
- Maintain accuracy and consistency across all design documentation
- Support design process improvements and adhere to company procedures and guidelines
Requirements
- Proven experience in structural design using E3D or PDMS
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- Strong understanding of structural steel detailing and fabrication practices
- Experience producing high-quality design documentation and drawings
- Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines in a multi-project environment
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and codes
