Overview
Join our team as a Civils Project Manager working on Yorkshire Water frameworks for AMP8 and AMP9. You\’ll lead the delivery of civils projects across water, wastewater, and environmental sectors – from design through to completion, to the highest quality and safety standards. This role builds on our strong, 25-year + partnership with Yorkshire Water and allows us to further build a team to support YW in their aims.

What You\’ll Be Doing
Reporting to the Area Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for delivering civils projects to the agreed programme, budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
- Utilise specialist civils experience and capability to project manage the delivery of complex civils schemes between the value of £100k-£2m.
- Work with design teams to provide sustainable solutions for Yorkshire Water throughout the design process.
- Plan effectively from pre-construction to post-construction in line with all relevant policies, procedures, and best working practices.
- Ensure the role in the capacity of temporary works coordinator is fulfilled adequately and in line with training.
- Produce site documentation, including but not limited to the project programme, RAMS, CPPs, and quality documentation and support the post project documentation process.
- Works are likely to be as Principal Contractor and Potentially Principle Designer therefore works must be managed to correct CDM requirements.
- Liaise effectively with the Commercial teams to estimate, manage budgets and spend, EW\’s, CE\’s and AFP\’s
- Ensure an understanding of the Company\’s Health and Safety Policy and the allocated responsibilities under the Health and Safety At Work Act including those under the CDM Regulations 2015.
- Hold responsibility and accountability for project performance including finance, health and safety, and quality.
Who We\’re Looking For
- Experience in project managing and delivering civils projects
- Experience in managing pre-construction civils processes, creating a scope of works, supporting on design and tenders and producing programs
- Strong understanding of quality assurance, CDM regulations and Regulations
- Experience with temporary works management
- Experience leading and mentoring a team
- Ability to read and use construction drawings
- Experience in producing site documentation incl Programmes, RAMs etc for Civils Projects
- Ability to identify and manage risks, ensuring compliance with safe systems of work.
- Full clean UK driving licence
